Laughing companions

These miniatures full of joie de vivre were created in a very special way: all eight paper works were created simultaneously on a large wooden chipboard. With bright colors and cheeky details, they show happy dog portraits that all have one thing in common - a smile and a sticking out tongue!

No risk, no fun

The use of spray paint was particularly risky in these works, in order to create spontaneous and surprising elements such as squiggles or splashes of paint. The spray paint was used after all eight dogs had already been worked on with acrylic paints and markers. Each spray could have destroyed the hours of hard work. The final layer of oil paint gives the works their depth and freshness and makes the dogs seem almost alive - as if they were about to step out of the picture at any moment.
